I don’t read tune and I don’t include any formal musical training.  Can I still join CGMC?

Yes!  CGMC members represent a variety of different musical backgrounds and skill levels, and reading music is not a requirement.
Is the “vocal placement” the similar as an audition?  Act I need to plan anything or bring music?
The vocal placement is essentially the same as an audition. You don’t require to prepare anything in advance or bring any music – the director will lead you through some exercises to name your vocal range and to assign you to one of the four sections (First Tenor, Second Tenor, Baritone or Bass).

Chicago Pride Parade  

Chicago's Pride celebration consists of a occupied month of festivities and events, culminating with the Chicago Pride Parade, which traditionally takes place the last Sunday of June.

 

Chicago Pride Fest takes place along North Halsted St. in the North Side neighborhood colloquially referred to a ‘Boystown’ the weekend prior to the parade.

The 54th annual Chicago Pride Parade steps off at 11 a.m. on Sunday, June 29,  from the corners of Sheridan and Broadway ( North) on Chicago's north side.

 

The parade treks through the north side of the town, ending near the intersection of Diversey Parkway and Sheridan Road in Lincoln Park, walking through some of the city's most vibrant neighborhoods.
