With the way you are describing, it looks like a fluff scene to me Fluff never happened during the War Arc.

I’ve never pictured Kakashi as gay -he quite literally reads porn written by non-other than Jiraiya (whose views on women are blatantly displayed in the manga). It’s true that gay men can still enjoy straight porn (and as you said internalized homophobia might be a factor), but I’ve never got any vibe from Kakashi, however, I wasn’t exactly looking for one. If I want to go crazy with theories, then Kakashi might be bisexual -but again, no canon evidence.
About the initial point of your interrogate, it isn’t as if Kakashi actually cares about Sasuke’s sexual life, but I think that him highlighting Sakura’s feelings for Sasuke is more a tactic he uses to emotionally manipulate Sasuke to make him return to Konoha and pled loyalty; and not because he twisted reality so much so that he sees Sakura as a metaphor of Rin and Sasuke of him -hence, it will be like him accepting and returning Rin’s feelings.

Are Kakashi and Guy gay lovers?
Serious question.
The last chapter adj much existed to display us who ended up with who, and who had kids. And in the end, we don&#;t see any kids from either Kakashi or Guy, nor do we glimpse them with a lady. We do, however, notice them still hanging out together. But is this, perhaps, because the two actually ARE together?
I mean, Guy has always been a pretty eccentric character, and Kakashi does enjoy those romance novels of his quite a bit, which, let&#;s verb it, romance novels are typically geared towards more of a feminine fanbase. Not to mention the gay jokes Kishi threw in between Kakashi and Naruto at times.
So, yeah, that&#;s basically my question, is what perform you all think of it. Me personally, thinking on it, I honestly can totally see it, and I really wouldn&#;t even have a challenge at all with it, either. In fact, that&#;d actually be pretty stylish I think.
